We bought my wife’s model 3 in late Dec 2018. I regret it more each day. But my wife loves the car so we aren’t getting rid of it.  I will never buy another Tesla and won’t help my wife if she wants one.  My thoughts on her car: the suspension sucks, it’s noisy, the wiper controls are dangerous, lock/unlock with phone

If we could only buy cars from CEOs where were great people, there wouldn’t be much to buy.”

I think what people are mostly referring to with those stickers is the political crazy though. The cave rescue incident was weird, but not “I would never ever associate with someone like this” weird like someone who enjoys giving Nazi salutes.

I think the article is a bit unkind to people with these stickers. There’s a difference between a CEO not being great on a personal level and the CEO being a Nazi hell-bent on destroying a free and democratic state. If we could only buy cars from CEOs where were great people, there wouldn’t be much to buy.

Dude. Haven’t you ever hit the Hertz counter?

A used Model 3 Performance is going to win this test for the four-wheel category. They run mid-11s and can be had for under $20k. I don’t think it’s possible to beat that with a stock car.

The things just do not look good. They aren’t offensive, but when you stand next to a Lucid and a Taycan, why would you choose an EQS? Then you have Tesla which the Model S still looks good, is cheaper, and faster, with a better charging network. EVs have levelled the playing field to where these companies need to be

My wallet tells me it’s going to take more than dropping the price of a $150,000 car to a mere 135 grand to win me over.

I’m digging their proposed model R3. That things screams re-imagined Dodge Omni and looks perfect for what I need.

I’ll never buy new, unless its a Rivian R3 or whatever the small car is they are teasing....

I know it shouldn’t bother me this much, but it does—I’m genuinely embarrassed to drive a Tesla because of Musk. I can’t wait to sell this car. I’m sure Farley or Toyoda might be P’sOS too, but at least they don’t constantly and loudly remind me of it.

I’ll be honest, the way the world and my ability to afford things is trending these days, I find myself less and less interested in most exotic cars as an adult. (Hell, I’m way more excited about the sub-10k mile 2011 Ranger im buying this week than I ever thought I’d be.) However Koenigsegg is one of the few

The Gemera and T.50 are my 2 car dream garage. Of course that dream garage also has an extensive tool collection and a mechanic staff from both makers.

I get that it is marketing lingo, and you can make some bold claims. But I still have no idea how “Auto Pilot” and “Full Self Driving” are allowed to be called what they are called.

I was living right in the centre of London in around 1995. I went to regional Germany for a weekend once and the air was so clear I felt like I was getting high.

Welcome to nearly every city in the southeast. It’s almost as if red states don’t bother investing in infrastructure until they are forced over a barrel.

it is seriously no joke how much fumes cars put up.

I’m taking a much more pessimistic view on the tariffs. I’m going to put my tinfoil hat on for a second.

Regarding Tesla wanting to move more operations to Texas. Remember when he moved Tesla’s R&D, only to move it back within months? He couldn’t get enough people to make that move, nor find enough qualified people outside of California.

1st Gear: Last sales report, the decrease in California Tesla sales amounted to a 10% overall global sales reduction. That’s big. Regarding Tesla wanting to move more operations to Texas.
