How about instead of laying off the Supercharger team? - spin them off, do an IPO, Tesla gets cash, the rest of the world gets the charging network unconnected to the Musk. Win Win Win - except for the part that makes Elon richer.

Those racks were found on so many cars in the late 80s early 90s. It was an easy way to add a “sporty spoiler”. I’ve never once seen one used as intended.

It seems like most of the automakers have given up on the small affordable car which was supposed to be the entry point into their brands. They might not be hugely profitable - but they get the buyers back in the showroom 4-7 years down the line when they’re ready to upgrade.
