The Lumina was a weird one. It was the last of the W-bodies to be released, the Regal, Cutlass Supreme and GranPrix all had interesting interiors. There was a lot of interest on what GM’s answer to the Taurus would be.

The issue is that it takes longer to refuel an EV vs ICE. That is the real headline.

From the Reuters article the bigger takeaway is she thinks Autonomous vehicles are going to be the next big thing still. “Barra reiterated a forecast that Cruise could generate $50 billion a year in annual revenue by 2030.”

The concept would have been so much cooler if the driver didn’t have to transfer out of their chair. 

If you want a Model 3 or Y - might be a good time to buy while they still have signal stalks and steering wheels instead of yokes and capacitive buttons. 

my buddy’s old Honda, he could start the car with just the tip of the key and then put the key in his pocket. Very very worn. Plus you could unlock the door by pulling on the top of it and just reaching in for the lock. He got broken into so many times the window frame started rusting where it was being bent back. 

Magna is doing the assembling and are well established. Assuming no supply chain issues they might ramp up quicker than the other EV startups. 

Just checked out their website - no information on pricing, configurations or ordering. I doubt the general public even knows this thing exist.

I nominate another Saab. Viggen’s still look modern and fresh.
