They aren’t shutting it down. They are saying it isn’t a legitimate use of taxpayer funds and plan to withdraw those funds. If clinics shut down as a result of losing funds so be it.

The federal government decides all the time what is legitimate and what isn’t, especially when it comes to health care. Old and need a hearing aid? Not good enough to get medicare to fund it. Have prostate cancer but want chemo? Nope. Not a legitimate treatment.

Racism no but other abuse yes. I have reported so many comments, users, and even users’ blog posts that are hateful and bigoted. Many are deeply offensive and some are open threats. The only difference is who is being victimized. Reddit lets everyone suffer offensive words. GM is a lot more specific who they protect.
