Hmm....I don’t know how having 3 lockouts during a tenure makes him a good commissioner...nor do I see how putting an NHL team in Las Vegas is a good idea...so not sure how either of those really show anything about my hockey acumen....solid comment though...thanks for really elaborating on your point....

You didn’t read closely. They give you free dinners and shows IN THEIR COMPLEX. If you go see Sir Elton or Celine or get the all you can eat prime rib, it’s attached to the casino through a myriad of hallways, and they have slots outside of all the venues. Do they want you cabbing it over to some other venue and then

Come on, you guys belong in the Norris Division and YOU KNOW IT.

I always hear goobers saying “the casinos will buy up tickets and give them to patrons”. Not a chance, the Casinos don’t want you to ever leave the Casino building, which is why they build them as huge interconnected structures.

Whenever my team has to play in your stupid conference the games always start while I’m still at work. Suck it up.

NHL’s really missing those 12k fans per home game.

Goodell is like the CEO of a wall street bank to Bettman’s terrible regional manager at Tim Horton’s

The fact the NHL seems set on putting an NHL team in Vegas just goes to show that despite Goodell’s best efforts, Gary Bettman is still the worst commissioner in professional sports.

besides the fact that it is exaggerated for tv (don’t tell me you think people on reality tv are being their real selves), authoritative commanding of a kitchen is the norm for head chefs in europe, particularly those trained in france like he was

I get the sentiment. and his yelling at people who are clearly not capable of working at his high standards is a bit too much, as its low hanging fruit. But that’s reality TV. However his claim to fame is most certainly not his yelling or his hair. it comes from being awarded 16 Michelin stars. Does he get in the

What? That’s the stupidest fucking thing. You don’t like the guy because of a part he plays on tv?

Because being jerky on TV is roughly the equivalent of genocide. In trying to point out the asshole, you have clearly identified him (that’s you if you didnt get the implication).

Have you ever watched Master Chef Junior? He is absolutely amazing when working with kids and it totally changed my view of him. I think the angry/mean thing is an act...plus its not like the chefs that go on Master Chef don’t know that. Additionally, I think he holds those chefs to a higher level because the things

In his defense, that’s mostly an American schtick. He’s got some shows in Britain where he is actually quite nice to his subjects...but being an ass here puts more eyeballs on the sets (with the exception of MasterChef Junior, in which he and the rest of the pros are seemingly pretty fantastic to the kiddos).

That’s like saying “the basepaths on this baseball field are only 85 feet. But since it’s 85 feet for everyone it’s okay.” Then you have one lineup that mashes the ball and the other team likes to steal bases and play small ball.

It was the boys and girls finals being held here. Seven classes for basketball seems excessive, but that is another story.

It’s a game that the athletes have spent years practicing and playing in order to accomplish something like a state championship appearance, almost certainly the pinnacle of nearly all their basketball careers. And all of that practice was based on developing muscle memory based on a regulation high school basket.

So, if somebody beans Utley with a 96mph fastball, can they just say, yes, they intentionally hit him with a 96mph fastball, but it’s all part of the game and they were just playing hard and he should’ve gotten out of the way?

When you get Conner’s nads out of your mouth you might want to also consider the fact that the 5th ranked fighter in his weight class took him on with 10 days notice. That fact completely negates your whine for McGregor about having to go up in weight

Short notice? McGregor was already primed and ready to fight dos Anjos. If anything, hats off to Diaz for taking a fight on 11 days notice.
