In his defense, that’s mostly an American schtick. He’s got some shows in Britain where he is actually quite nice to his subjects...but being an ass here puts more eyeballs on the sets (with the exception of MasterChef Junior, in which he and the rest of the pros are seemingly pretty fantastic to the kiddos).
