the entire trend of “natural” methods of childbirth and recovery are in dire need of.
What baffles me is, if Goku and frieza are at such a level of power that they are both stronger than even the supreme kais, wouldn’t the recoil from a single punch cause a shockwave on par with a nuclear weapon?
His acting isn’t very good and the content of the movie seems questionable, but at least he’s not a creepy psychopath! Winning.
For good reason, religion stops at your doorstep and once you walk outside stfu about it....
My prom was more about party drugs and half naked girls more than anything...Then again this was the 2000s, we had class....
Research has shown milk is great for rehydration after exercise. Water retention was improved by the protein and other things in the milk. The protein and calories are, of course, useful to the body for repair and recovery. Double-win. Much as I love beer, there’s no hangover from milk either.
I haven't been this happy watching a movie in forevererer....
1776, 1812, 1918, 1945, and now 2015. USA, kicking Europe’s ass for 2 1/2 centuries!

This picture describes my dating life right now.

He held his own against that “thug”.
I disagree. It's not like, "any voice is better than no voice, it's just that some voices are better"; to approach it from that angle completely disregards the fact that colonialism actively made things worse for those women. There are occasionally articles on here about members of a marginalized group that I am a…
It is a miserable thing to be a Hindoo lady. While she is a very little girl, she is allowed to play about, but when she comes to be ten or twelve years old, she is shut up in the back rooms of the house till she is married; and when she is married she is shut up still. She may indeed walk in the garden at the…
No. Are you really trying to say that an oppressive aspect of some cultures is grounds enough to deem the entirety of those cultures worthless and backward? Are you really privileging your view of Nepali culture over the views of Nepali women? Are you appointing yourself the arbiter of which cultures are worthy and…
I studied abroad in Nepal in the mid-90's, through an anthropology program. Before participating, we were required to take a course on Nepali culture that featured Nepali voices. (It is an amazingly diverse region). We were warned against trying to impose Western ideas and told to listen, not lecture. It was an…
This. Thank you. I want to hear from Nepali women themselves, not some white woman's account of her view of Nepali women's struggles. If you see up in previous comments, someone has already referred to the developing world as "worthless cultures", this is what this type of article perpetuates.
I don't know that a white, Western woman denouncing cultural relativism is all that helpful (or, particularly insightful, seeing as how if white, Western people had their way, the concept of cultural relativism wouldn't even exist). The point is, we don't get to decide what other cultures should do, seeing as how we…
I'm not defending particular traditions, nor criticizing them. I'm just saying who are we to criticize any other culture? What are we going to do, sit back and tsk the horrible evil people who follow their own traditions? Or perhaps send in some UN 'human rights' workers to put an end to something we shouldn't even…
