Don’t ban weapons and equipment - ban the criminal.

The answer is to make the fines for distracted driving similar to those of drunk driving, and then have the police stop ticketing people for traveling a few mph over the speed limit and focus 90% on enforcing the distracted driving laws.

Whatever happened to enforcing the laws we already have against it? Increasing fines and more public awareness messages. That video with all the people in the cars getting crushed in slow motion because the driver was texting should be more prevalent.

I hope you have good insurance and a good lawyer. You’re one missed red light away from t-boning someone into the hospital, with their avalanche of medical bills far exceeding whatever per person maximum your insurance covers heading your way afterward. Pull over and send those emails, bud. You’re putting your

What everyone in this thread has not included is that despite the brutal last few winters, every snow we have gotten has been known about well in advance and idot has done very well at cleaning streets quickly/efficiently. Personally, I think there were a couple days this past winter this was inaccurate, but overall

Honda Accord. / thread.

The only one? BS. A fellow Jalop from here in Chicago bought one from Mexico, and has it in his garage locally. Jalopnik even ran the stories about that deal.

Just read on IMDB that she's 39.

... how many seconds after the verdict was the appeal filed?

It is a new car, if anything major happens on it, that should be covered. She can sell it off before it gets too old, and make money, money which she wouldn't have made had she not got this car for free ;)

Don’t get me wrong, the Cruze is still a boring car to me and I think Ford has a stronger product line in general, but I just found the fit and finish to be superior inside the Chevy. Ford is hitting it out of the park in options, performance, handling, exterior looks, and price, but I think GM has them beat on

Unfortunately many young people entering college are not properly educated about personal finance. This is certainly a failure of their parents and to a lesser extent the school system, but the kid ends up being the victim for the rest of his/her life. An 18-year-old is certainly an adult, but if they got a raw deal

I have this little mental list I keep of all the times I see something that is so absurd it makes me think we are living in a Kurt Vonnegut novel.

Skis and snow gear are wet, stinky, and don't always fit so easily anywhere. The box keeps everything clean and tidy.

But you don't go "Aw man this sucks!" when you have to take the Escape rather than the ST.
