I think you’re comparing a premium EcoBoost to a standard GT. I just tried comparing the premium EcoBoost to a Premium GT with the options you mention and I get $42k vs $52k.

$42,000 does seem like a lot, but then again, I just hit up the build-and-price and the way I’d like to setup a GT would end up being $52,000. Basically a GT Premium w/ track pack and Recaros vs a EB with the HPP, handling package, and Recaros ends up being a $10,000 difference. I absolutely would not get a base GT as…
I get that it’s a Camry and isn’t exactly thrilling through a tight and twisty road, but for a commuter this seems like a decent car to me. I mean, since when did a 300 hp commuter car become a snooze mobile? I mean realistically, how much more power can you put to the ground from 0-40 mph? I’m going to take a guess…
Uber is for making cash after you get off work from your 9-5, I don’t feel sorry in the least for these idiots. They should just go get a job that pays better if they’re so worried about the amount of cash they’re bringing in. Uber is something fun to do on a Saturday night or a random Wednesday after work. It’s not…
Very well said! I don’t feel sorry for the drivers at all, it’s meant to be a way to earn a few extra bucks after they get off from their day job.
Came here to suggest this or the Escape.
This is simple... a 2.0L Ecoboost AWD Ford Escape. My wife owns one and is 4'11", her mom owns one and is 4'10". They both claim that it’s the easiest vehicle they have ever driven from an ergonomic standpoint. Not to mention those things have some great acceleration! A used Forester XT may be a good option as well,…
That’s some crap.
I feel like Acura should have followed the C8 approach for the NSX.
I agree. This new direction for Ford really does remind me of the 90s and early 00s. I have a 2014 Ford Focus ST and a 2014 Ford Escape, I love both cars. However, they’re starting to get a bit old and will probably be replaced in the next few years.
“1994 - The Whyte Design Team is formed and we start working on a full suspension design for mountain bikes, led by Jon Whyte, ex Benetton Formula 1 design engineer.”
Whyte is just the guys last name and there’s lots of deer in the woods. Pretty basic imo.
Forget how much he paid.
That’s interesting. I had a 2012 Focus SE for 40,000 miles from new. I beat the piss out of that car, my favorite thing was that you could just stand on the brake and gas at a stop light and then just side step the brake pedal. Unlike a normal automatic car it seemed like it would just be in neutral when I did this…
Yet owners will still swear up and down that the outback is a SUV and not a wagon.
I’ve managed to transform student loan debt into a well paying job. I like make more net of my loan payments than I would have made without them.
Um.... when’s the last time you rode a bicycle? We have the gyroscopic effect as well and honestly... turning is exactly the same. Counter-steering is counter-steering.
I think not carrying it very far is important too. I’ve always got the hint that they really just don’t want people out there riding like Valentino Rossi on the cool down lap after he wins a race.
There’s a huge difference between lifting the front from acceleration and clutching it up down the entire front straight.
Exactly... I have three bikes and a car. I typically do 18-20k miles per year total, but about 12k is on the car and the remaining 6-8k is split between the three bikes.
I guess when your successful it doesn’t even matter how you dress. I’m diggin’ it.
