eh... I don’t live in Chicago, just the suburbs. However, there isn’t a winter in recent memory that would have been an issue with a Mustang GT. Just get a good set of winter tires, but that’s really a requirement with a FWD/AWD/RWD car.

Mine doesn’t even have AWD, I skipped that option when I picked out my Escape. I figured “When the hell is this thing ever going to need AWD?!”.
My car is a 1995 has 130hp and gets damn near 40 mpg. You might want to get a tune up.
So... I’m 25, girlfriend is 24. Three new car purchases between the two of us in the last three years. Interestingly enough, two of those were purchased by me and the 2014 Escape she drives was a graduation gift from her parents. So 2/3 cars fall into the Gen Y stat while 1/3 cars falls into the boomers stat. Yet, 3/3…
VW’s way of getting people not to stance their car huh?
While I agree the Ducati is WAY better looking (and build quality is probably better too), that’s not why I buy motorcycles. All of my bikes are covered in bugs and salt... heck, it really doesn’t matter what they look like when I’m sitting on them.
Only marginally worse... like doesn't matter to an average rider worse...
Pretty much the same for any athlete.
At "only" 451 hp I'd prefer a Mustang 5.0.
Would probably go to jail for rape if you tackled her.
College won't give you a job, just the skills required to get a job. The rest is on you.
“The problem for the Focus ST is that the Fiesta ST exists. On its own, the Focus ST isn’t bad, but the Fiesta ST makes you realize just how good a Ford hot hatch can be.
EcoBoost stang + Tune = Done
I mean though... even her bike is relatively cheap compared to a comparable speed car. I bet that new H2R.... would do 200 mph. I know it’s 50k but still.
I’d probably go with a BMW myself, as far as the aero kit nonsense.... You would be fine with the standard kit. I mean I think someone did 217 at the Texas Mile last year on a S1000RR with the stand swingarm.
Skip the car and get a bike, if you want cheap speed that is.
Did he make the sale?
To each his own I suppose, but the Cruze LTZ just doesn’t do ANYTHING for me. I’ll take my Focus over that any day of the week. It actually kind of reminds me of a Corolla for a reason I can’t quite figure out.
Really the only cars that I like better than the Focus are the Golf/Jetta.
Compared to what? A three series? Sure. But I have a loaded Focus and it’s hands down a nicer place to be than my good friends loaded Optima. Although the Optima does have more gadgets. If you compare the Focus to say a Civic, it’s no comparison. The amount of hard plastic in the Civic is so much greater than the…
Can’t really judge by the rental spec cars. Ford’s interior quality is a step above on with the cars at the dealer. I once rented a Focus (I own one) and was amazed at how they managed to completely ruin the interior of the rental. It was so incredibly cheap compared to the one I owned. It almost wasn’t even the same…
