While that assumption is correct when buying a NEW vehicle I'm not sold on that thinking in the used market. Let's be honest if you can afford a new vehicle you don't need to worry about how much gas costs, but if you can only afford a used vehicle it's another story.

It's even worse when a new rider asks for motorcycle advice. Typically the first response is sensible pointing them towards a 250-500 twin. Then the next 15 responses tell them it would be the worst mistake of their life to waste their time on a 250-500 twin. Two weeks later everyone gets to see photos of their brand

True story. They never listen, so why bother?

Haha, I'd take two. An auto for lazy days, and a manual for the other 90% of the time.

You guys/girls need to consider circumstances before judging the amount of debt that certain folks have.
