You are right about the aero, but you are wrong about the pushrod motors. The Small Block Chevy lasted like 35 years, true, but the current engines were designed 2 years ago.

@ #9

Aussies also appreciate race tracks. I read somewhere once that Australia has more race tracks per capita than the US.

Iraq: Never Ending. While I do agree with Tyler, at the end of the day America has been a bunch of idiots about Iraq. It took 3 generations of our involvement in Germany and Japan to get those countries where they are today. If we had left Germany just 10 years after coming in, then at that time there were still

So who wants to bet that George and Amals wedding will be 100x classier than Kanye and Kims?

Do you got proof that the 5.7L isn't a 9 year old engine (designed in 2005 actually) that hasn't been updated since its introduction?

I had no idea Hamilton even commented here.

Are you really trying to say that all black budget projects end up on FBO? Puh-lease.

Redo that with the 3.42 ratio and get back to me.

That is not how these Air Force projects work. Typically the actual contracts are awarded to and by private companies. The CIA has been known to setup private shell companies just to hide projects, and I have no doubt the Air Force has done the same with Groom Lake projects.

There there, Gustave. You live in California, and therefore aren't a total turd like people who live in Brooklyn. Console yourself with that.

What always strikes me is that people forget that Top Gear is actually the most popular global television program from the West. It regularly will have over 150 million viewers a year from countries all over. Heck it is as big in China as it is in the UK. It is one of the few programs the BBC actually makes more money

Obviously the Jalopnik guy who reposted it from FlightClub. Because its awesome.

You see, this, right here. Back in the old days (the 80s and before) when people went camping twice a year or did a ride somewhere, they didn't have purpose built anything. By the very nature of having tires, and engine, and a a few inches between the pipes and the ground, any bike can really take MOST terrain with

That is why it is on FlightClub.

Who is Cata Doxa and what is CPT?

For reals.

Just plain wrong. A 2.20:1 gear ratio is as good a 4:30 gear ratio IF the transmission's ratios are right. Look at the gearing of the Toyota AT, and compare that to the gearing of the 6L80E. In all cases, the gearing of the 6L80E is higher (numerically) than the AB60E. Do the math, and the final drive ratio is not

This plays perfectly into my "alternate history" for you.

Allen will appreciate you going to be at a more reasonable time, Gustave. He will.
