Such a terrifying and well done moment. Although, I think the original series did it better, and not just the scene. You got an extra episode with the family to really like them before it happens. Big difference!

I concur, Hughes’s funeral was a stronger tearjerker. Nina was horrific, but the funeral was just... holy shit. I mean shit I can think about the Chimera thing without tears, thats ultimately just the horrific crimes of a madman. but the funeral... well its a terrible day for rain.

I’d go so far as to say the entire overlapping beginning part was done better in the original. They seemed to want to skim over it in brotherhood since many were already aware of those storylines which is a damn shame when looking at them stand alone.
