The Republicans have done an excellent job of doing this one core thing.

I guess they can’t ever get it right, can they. Damned if they do, and damned if they don’t.
I was told by a cop that “bad shit happens after midnight”. He was referring to drunk idiots and their toys, as well as general bad guys. I try to stay off the roads after midnight on weekends, to avoid people like this.
“Those multi billion dollar ships can all be sent to the bottom with relatively cheap and increasingly prolific ASMs. “
The fishball was already on the ground. It was not going to be eaten. I’d rather see it in the bushes where it can get eaten by critters instead of in a landfill.
Enjoy the market while you can, for however it lasts.
“Niche audience” was in regards to this game specifically. It’s built for hardcore Lord British fans, and even then it seems to have not hit the mark. And yes I was talking about new MMORPG development. It’s dead from a development perspective, because the risk and cost versus the success rate means developers will…
“Also, what is up with a lot of these old school video game directors/producers not being able to churn out projects off the ground anymore? Did they think they didn’t have to do much work to get projects like these working through crowdfunding?”
MMO scene is dead, game caters to a niche audience, and Garriott hasn’t made a successful game in 20 years. They honestly should have made a couple of cheap single player games. They could have made 2 with 11 million. Just keep it simple like Don’t Starve or something.
Honestly too ambitious to make an MMO on that budget, with that many people working for them. An MMO needs hundreds of people, unless you call DayZ and MMO. For the type of game they are making, it’s not nearly enough, and it caters to a niche audience. They could have made a game similar to Ori And The Blind Forest…
It was a bad example to use, because everyone seems to be focusing on the income of average Americans, and not seeing the point of the comparison. It’s bad for a business to have one month of savings, and another month being spent as it gets made, considering what their income stream is designed to be. If they were…
A business with such a niche audience and no automatic monthly billing shouldn’t operate like that though, was my point. If you look at their website, their methods of income are buying expensive packages within the game. Not really attractive to most people. Their other source of income was taking crowdfunding money.…
I don’t think it’s a scam, although there can be a bigger discussion about game studios milking a project to keep themselves employed. I’ve seen that happen. I just think that they are getting an extremely niche audience, that happened to have shelled out a lot of money so far. But that well is drying up, I guess.…
You didn’t read the rest of my post, apparently.
Because they went from 11 million to under 300k. They’ve stablized at under 300k, but for a long time they were obviously spending much more than making.
Lol yeah that is scary.
“ “We earn about the same amount as we spend every month,” Garriott said, “and that has been true for the majority of the existence of this company.” ”
I worked for a meat company, delivering meat in one of their company trucks. It got a flat tire, and I had to call them from the mechanic place to come pay for it. The tire was nearly finished being fixed when I got in touch with my boss. When he heard that the truck was ready, he told me over the phone to “just drive…
Lawyers can petition the government for arrest videos and such. It happens all the time. There’s nothing illegal about it, and it’s not a “leak”.
Because people were giving TMZ shit for posting about Tiger getting arrested for “sleeping in a parked car”. Nevermind the fact that the car was parked halfway in the road, and that Tiger was stumbling around and barely aware of what was going on, and had damage to his car. So this video shows they weren’t just making…
