Trump is going to give the GOP a few things they want, like one or more supreme court seats. Nothing is going to force Trump out until later in his presidency, when the GOP can’t stand it any more and they have gotten what they wanted out of him.

I’m glad they are getting him in record saying he is against several things that Trump is in favor of, and will try to do. This hearing won’t stop him from becoming AG, but let’s get all the important matters on record now, so that when he goes back on his word we can make a big deal out of it.

Everyone should be planning for 2020. I have confidence that Trump will destroy his own chances at re-election (if he doesn’t destroy us all first). But lets not take anything for granted here. The road to 2020 starts today.
