to be fair to her, the call between kanye and taylor was about the lyric in famous - “i made that bitch famous” - not the video (where a wax replica of her appears in the nude), which was made after she publicly decried the song. supposedly the previous line - “i feel like me and taylor might still have sex”- was not

dave interviewed kanye west so that’s almost definitely one of the episodes.

this looks SOOOOOOO much like the Leftovers, which is exactly what i wanted from this show. if it’s even half as good as the last two seasons of that show it’s gonna be one of the highlights of the year.

people celebrate that song because they relate to it.

i think match point is great (a retread of crimes and misdemeanors, but still great) and vicky christina barcelona is close to great (mostly because the cast is phenomenal). so i’d say 12 years but obviously that’s still more than a decade.

this seems like a misrepresentation of what he said, which was more along the lines of “i can’t believe people love this thing i wrote so much, the memes are awesome, hopefully it doesn’t get oversaturated.”

sorry when has chapo trap house been transphobic?

wow, this has to be one of the best episodes they’ve ever done. charming, hilarious, poignant, sad. plus the cinematography this year has been a real step up. i loved the way they shot gretchen and edgar on the golf course. i hope everything works out for jimmy and gretchen, even though i know that’s a pipe dream.

this is an insane opinion

nobody fucking cares it’s a comedy

some of their dancier/synth-poppier stuff would be half light II (no celebration), black wave/bad vibrations (mostly the first half but still), reflektor, and afterlife. the whole “everything now” album sort of exists in that area but i think the songwriting isn’t very good, but if you’re looking for more maybe go

this episode was a nightmare

this show is so so so fucking funny, and i was really starting to think nobody was watching. this is excellent news.

the good place and crazy ex girlfriend are two of the most exciting and ambitious television shows on the air right now, comedy or drama, so i’m not really sure what your point is?

so rebecca would have some moral support in the NYC episode and also (i would guess) to get her extremely boring girlfriend character out of the way.

aline brosh mckenna confirms on twitter that heather and valencia won’t be leaving the show, if anyone else was worried like i was

this episode made me laugh a lot, though i thought the punchline was going to be that the good bathroom would be marked “Employees Only.”

the article is like three hundred words and you couldn’t even read it?

what if lindelof’s version is a reaction to and deconstruction of the endless march of superhero movies we’ve been getting for the last decade, the same way the original was a reaction to and deconstruction of the comics world at the time? could work.
