I suppose I’ve lived long enough to see all sorts of horrors perpetrated that have the capacity to ‘ruin’ a life, from people being deliberated maimed or acid-scarred to lives (and families) forever altered by Nixon’s drug war. Addictions can ruin lives, as can mental illness, and those aren’t inflicted by anyone

I once worked as a telemarketer with a girl named Expensive. Her grandmother named her, because “babies are expensive.” She had to use her middle name for work, because you can’t sell security systems over the phone with an opener like “Hi, this is Expensive.”

The notion that manhood is diminished by homosexuality is what fueled this asshole to kill his kid in the first place. Implying that forced homosexuality (and implicitly diminished manhood) is the most severe Mikado-like punishment possible feeds the same flame.

I wanted to name my daughter Virginia and then have a second and name him her Tonic. Basically so I could have a Gin and Tonic. I was vetoed by Mr. Borealis. Spoilsport.

OMG! That’s terrible! (And hilarious but mostly terrible).

Any excuse for a Shannon Beador gif thread!!

My sister taught twins named Stephanie and—I swear on my life—Notstephanie. Notstephanie was pronounced with the emphasis on the third syllable so it didn’t sound exactly like “Not Stephanie” but I assure you, that was her name.

The beats are standard issue, I agree.

Teacher here. I’ve had both a Chardonnay and a Sauvignon in class.

I will admit that I used to be addicted to Cardi’s instagram videos LOL but she explained in one of them that people comment on her page alot asking if Hennessey is her little sister’s real name and it is. She said that when her mom gave birth to her little sister her dad was out partying and got to the hospital and

I went to school with two sisters, one named Mari and one named Juana. Both fine names. Just maybe not together...

It’s easier to excuse away her role in the adult relationships but she lost me with the kids. That one daughter that always comes up in the news may have issues, but she’s trying with the best she was given in life. Rosie’s constant need to have to last word makes me cringe every time. Still don’t like 45 dumping on

The Drahmmaah. She lives it.

I actually know 3 girls named Hennessy.

“She told us her dad worked in a tequila factory when she was born.”

Her dad *woke up* in a tequila factory

I knew a girl when I was in middle school whose name is Tequila. She told us her dad worked in a tequila factory when she was born. Somehow I don’t think that was actually true.

Rosie O’Donnell’s life seems like a series of highly dramatic, exhausting events.

I’m still tryin’ to make my way past the fact that the child’s name is Hennessy...

I’m continually amazed at how easy people can kill those who are supposed to be their loved ones. I understand the random, drunk/drug fight that gets out of hand, but your own children?
