Thanks for the apology, special snowflake!

I've got to say, given Malala's father is a teacher and a proponent of women's education, I am really surprised that Malala's mother is illiterate in her native language. When I read your headline, I assumed that Malala's mother was learning to read and write in her own native language, which I thought was bizarre

No...?

Because... that's... what... it says in the blog post.....? (Refraining from pasting entire blog in my comment).

Oh, boy, this headline is a doozy. "Learning how to read and write" =/= "Learning how to read and write A SECOND LANGUAGE." I know that in America we are English-centric to the point of craziness, but objectively speaking, this is a bad headline.

I doubt many self-respecting Indian actors would touch this mess. Unsurprisingly, Rudyard Kipling is not considered a national hero in India.

Are we still pretending that the Disney movie (and its source material!) weren't horribly, offensively racist and dated, and that some good will come out of this new version?

I just read the comments on the (original) Renisha McBride story (maybe in the Detroit Free Press? This is the story about her parents filing a civil suit against Wafer for $10 million). To comment on that story users had to link up their Facebook accounts. Their actual Facebook accounts, with identifying information

Kendall Jenner is fast becoming the worst Kardashian (or is it Kylie?). They are both horrible.

Wait- I thought the kid was 9...?

That's a gracious apology. No worries!

Is this an article or a rant?

Low blow, buddy. I was on board with your argument until you compared my fiance to pedophile, because I happen to be a thin woman.

But that sentiment can't be boiled down to a pithy one-liner.

Also beware the erudite commenters' hyperlinks. These trolls are pretty good at sounding like reasonable people. The link I clicked today, luckily, was blocked by my company's firewall (hope I don't get a call from IT today).

Wow, you're really cool!

..."terrifyingly brilliant"... You know what I find terrifying? Ignorance! Was it on Jezebel that I saw a very salient post about doing away with "scary smart" as a descriptor? Let's.

It means that when a black woman is educated, Keith Ablow thinks she is like a dog wearing clothes. I think.

Wait- you went on vacation- and a baby left his children at the pool?! That's fun.

I'm guessing then that you didn't have a job! See how that works? Homeless, no job = ID/day at the DMV.
