I was reading fast and on the first pass missed the FOR in the title. :O

I like using a 1/2 cup measuring cup to crack the egg into. It has a handle and a pouring spout. I don’t know how much it actually helps but I stir the water hard into a whirlpool before I lower in the egg. I am also a fan of hard poached eggs like 10 minutes.
