Funniest thing I’ve heard about the renovation shows is the end result is like TV sets - they film what they complete, put fascia on the rest (or just skip unfinished rooms altogether) so it just looks like the redid an entire house in an afternoon.

I’m old enough to have been a faithful viewer of this show during its original run. After that I watched it in reruns quite a bit. Now the only time I catch it is when I turn on TBS in a hotel room. I get why people around my age enjoyed it back in the day, but I can’t for the life of me understand what about it…
