He’s got a pretty solid start

That article from yesterday didn’t really age well

You really want over the top? What about Over the Top?

The pageants have always had that stuff though. What you do in addition to being beautiful and how well you interview plays a part in how you place, and scholarships are a big part of what you get for doing well.

Why would a rental place pay to have a useless aftermarket kit installed on their fleet? Uhaul rents a standard cab 2wd for 19.95 plus mileage.

No

That sums up my feelings on both shows perfectly. A little balance would help HotD as well, 10 straight hours of misery with nothing to lighten the mood was exhausting.

I’ve probably played over 100 tournaments with hole in one prizes and never had any recording. You have a witness at the teebox and another near the green, the one you did was just really extra.

Generally you pay insurance on it and the insurance company covers the cost. Sounds like someone here thought they could get away without the insurance since it’s so rare to hit a hole in one and got caught holding the bag.

They clearly communicated that they could not and would not provide the truck as a prize, the CC offered it anyway.

I’ve played some tournaments where a dealership will sponsor a $10k hole in one and put a few cars on the course for advertising purposes.  It’s always been very clear though that the cars were not the prize.

The finale has been out for like 10 minutes, and you go with that headline?  WTF?

You are correct, I just looked back and didn’t realize that Jimmy’s death was so early on. Bobby was amazing and Stephen Graham was pretty great too.

I haven’t done a rewatch but remember feeling that it went downhill fast after Jimmy died.

Great tip, I’m only 6' but when I had to sleep on a couch after shoulder surgery a couple years ago, we only had a loveseat available. That was a rough few weeks.

And, the headline and article are wrong?

It’s not a donation if you’re paid for it, it’s a sale.

based on reasonable standards

What an odd comment, yes we should punish people for driving drunk. Making to their destination doesn’t change the fact that they willingly put others in danger to get there.

Jake Peterson, it’s right there at the top of the page
