While this is one of the finer points from the comics, there is a conversation where The Saint points out to Jesse that the small number of folks who manage to survive the touch of God are usually driven mad.

If Jesse's subconscious mind creates a Tulip who is a whore and the Jesse in the midst of the trip says "Actually, any part of me that thinks that can shove it.", can you actually characterize that Jesse the way you did?

"(although right now, I find the show overall to be a lot more boring than its premise should ever have allowed). "

Well…

" But everyone in his universe believes that his/her flaws excuse his/her
behavior, sometimes grossly (like Jesse's grandmother), sometimes
mildly (like how Christine treat Jesse's father at first meeting)—even
Tulip, even Annie, and, yes, even John and Christine—they're good

Man, the degree of character based stupidity you have to be willing to excuse and/or ignore just to entertain any of this is simply staggering.

Bet your last money against Featherstone being killed. Seeing as the actor playing Hoover may have another engagement, he's a toss up.

Actually, it's the exact opposite of fan service/inside jokes. A good two thirds(maybe more) of what is happening is nowhere in the source material. Strictly television invention.

If I was a fellow fan of the comic, I would give it a couple of episodes from season 2.

Factoring in that it has almost nothing to do with the source material, Joe's work in this particular corner of the story has been nothing short of particularly impressive.

It's not that odd when you factor in that current "Television" Jesse is almost a complete idiot.

One other thing…

Yep.

"L'Angelle" is Jesse's mother's maiden name.
