agreed. things only break when you’ve got traction. the tires on the Ferd were lit up, so the frame and driveline components weren’t seeing all the force that the engine and gearing can deliver, and nothing even close to 80K lbs. easy peasy for that truck.

oh, oops, i replied to you instead of replying to my comment to include all the other ones. sounds like we are on the same page tho.

cool. good for them for getting it outta there.

as much as it flies in the face of ‘Murica, i think the french regulation that says something like “thou shalt notst have more than 100hp” is actually a good idea - assuming this question is for street bikes. track bikes are another can of worms.

this isnt a smuggling thing right? these are just every-day normal mysterious packages being swapped between race and chase vehicles after they cross borders and stuff, right?

is it me, or does this set of curves look like it has a sharp ridge at the top of the flair. thats a neat bit of sculpting. this is a nice car (provided it is actually on a chassis befitting this car. if its on a fusion chassis, its not as nice)

I really like what Maser has done with the ‘17 Quattroporte. Really toned down the italian passion in order to go after more market share against zee germans

Im gonna throw in my vote for G6 sedan over a current gen Sonata. my reasoning is this:

noice.

its crazy right. but if Lloyds will insure J-Lo’s butt, these guys might be able to get a barebones policy. probably doesnt cover much other than someone tripping in the paddock, but there isnt much you can do without insurance these days

pikes peak on a grom? 5 rider sprint race up the mountain? i would watch that.

very true. damn shame though. a damn shame that its the case.

fair point. insurance is just a premiums>probability*claims cost thing, so youre probably right. but i think there needs to be a mutual understanding that risk cannot be completely eliminated, regardless of measures.
maybe the real problem is the lawyers?? haha #sorrynotsorry

Neutral: There is a perception that Chinese cars are built worse than North American cars. This is untrue for a few reasons.

I’m with Toye. Riding a bike based off a Z1000 instead of a ZX10R up the mountain will not prevent similar deaths.

its good. slow, but nice inside and decently frugal. im gonna buy an NA Miata in a year or so for my toy, and i have a bike for the summer, so this is pretty much a commuter car for my wife and I. so yeah, does what i need it for, and does it well, but slow (previous car was a Fit, so basically the same idea, low

i just bought a CX-5. needed wanted more room than a CX-3 or 3wagon, so had to settle for a CX-5. Itotally would have gotten this instead if it was an option, because the world needs more wagons.and this is a wagon on large wheels.
2.5NA or the 2.5T out of the CX-9, please and thank you.

10/10 would buy if i could afford one. instead of an R32 or something, i need to import one of these.

hit. for those that can afford it, its a nice alternative to the classic Cafe. its like future-cafe: if someone from 50 years from now grabbed an 30 year old bike and stripped it back in the same manner as what we do now with the whole cafe scene.

im not trying to s**t on it. either way, its awesome. ‘straya knows how to do it.
