I was there (and in Ramsey just before May Hill) for that ‘parade’ lap. I will post a vid soon once i get it off my camera, but i just want to say, that bike was easily the most insane bike I saw the whole week (even including the actual race machines, though the race machines are way better at getting through the

i know everyone is saying “that’s not what the question was asking, blah blah blahwhatever”, but we need to use our power on the internet to bring it to the world’s attention.

Are people putting these badges on 220i’s yet?

the upside to all this rigor is a wonderful road experience. I was only there as a tourist, but it was like a polite, well-behaved utopia of organized chaos compared to the urban driver hellscape of Toronto (which is probably not even that bad overall).
When I got to Japan I was amazed by how smoothly it all worked.

i’ve got the feeling that this will be a 10footer.
CP because i bet that there will be a ton of little issues with this conversion once you get up under the truck

up here in canadistan we can get 94 at petro-canada stations (they took over the sunoco, who was the originator of 94octane gas). Ultra94 is probably similar to Audi’s RON100.
If it can be made without the need for fossil fuels, that would be great!

hmmmm.... pass.

Hooooo. Leeeee. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. T.
That is one hell of a fast bike.
we all knew that it would be, but to see it and be able to gauge the speed against something else really puts a fine point on just how bonkers it is.
And this isnt even ‘area under the curve’ stuff. Where the supercharger would really shine is the

i lol’d harder at this than at other posts. more internet points for you.

is this takata thing going to be like the GM recalls? takes forever for the parts to get to the dealer, then the dealers don’t care to hustle to get them swapped out?
also, does the recall include Canadistan cars? or do we get to continue to enjoy our explodey-shrapnel airbags? because I would expect my 07 Fit to be

vid no longer worky. it would have been a good way to start my day too

does the rear end of the maroon car remind anyone else of this?

testify! those things are still great. they may be old, but they are rare, and youll probably make money when you sell a nice one. I would definitely pay for one of these

yeah, the rear is about the same height, and the 4” shorter forks brought the front back into line. The original geometry wasn’t too bad on these first gen bikes, much lazier on the 2nd gen ones, but ithe fork swap did bring the geometry into line with sportier bikes.
i took these measurements with a ruler, my iphone

crossing finish lines like a boss

So, as I watch that video (specifically the part that shows the left hand grip), I can’t help but wonder if Honda has built in a DCT clutch ‘button’ for the off-road part. Wes mentioned that lofting the front would be tough with a DCT, so my idea for getting around that is to build in this functionality to allow a

the only OEM top tree with risers that can be used on these forks is a Z1000 top tree. i was thinking about that at one point, but chose clipons because it fit with the end goal that i wanted to reach for the bike. also, that top tree is super rare since all the stunters want it for their bikes. it is almost cheaper

true. totally valid.

it was deliberately taken off so that he wouldnt rip it off when he pulled it onto the flatbed. the last pic is earlier in teh stop and the bumper is intact.

yeah, the valve was not how i wanted the summer riding season to start. i am gonna buy a new engine and thrash on it this weekend, so hopefully i can have it running sooner rather than later.
thanks for the compliments. i’m super proud of it, especially because this was my first stab at any custom mods. i’ve never
