Your experience is important and I’m glad you’re sharing it with the mostly cishet audience of Jezebel.

someone sounds triggered. should maybe have a warm glass and milk and take nap, you grumpy.

if you think giving a woman head involves “sticking your tongue in a hole” then you are not speaking truth, bro.

Translation: 5 min of oral sex while making it clear that this a HUGE gift and you really dont like it and by the way i have a job and could be sleeping right now shitty oral sex.

probably best to stay away from women altogether as your contempt comes through pretty clearly here.

perhaps - we have generations of people women who would rather spare another’s feelings that ensure their own pleasure.

“I suspect that you are easier to get off than most women” Ew.

I hate being actually fingered. Hate it. It doesn’t feel pleasurable and most men don’t know what the fuck they’re doing. I also like a light touch when I’m being stimulated, and men get weird about that too. Like they want to act like my clit is a turntable or something. It’s not. It’s a clit and I think I know what

Not weird at all! I’ve liked it only sometimes. Often I don’t.

So there’s nothing wrong with talking about your desires, but do you not see the irony in talking about the particulars of what makes you climax in this particular forum, which is about how most hetero women don’t get off when they have sex with their partners and most hetero men do? This one isn’t about you, my

LOL who the fuck said she should be proud? Or he should be grateful. Both should try to please the other not to score points.

Deep kissing is gross, though. Can we compromise with breathy necking and a solid ear lobe game?

umm no sorry didn’t you read the article all women like it all women like the same things getting a woman off is just like a video game up up down down ABAB down down up start

The only moral abortion is my abortion. The only time I do not insult Obamacare is when my insurance is cut. The only time I promote gay rights is when my child comes out to me.

Agreed. Crispin seems to be a very radical feminist...and the things she is saying are pretty standard for radical feminists. This is not a sleight on her at all, but I kind of get the feeling a lot of Jezebel commenters may not be familiar with radical feminism, because they are so used to liberal feminism. Like to

Crispin also criticizes Lena Dunham, Rebecca Traister, Steinem, HRC, etc. Beyonce, like these other women, has used feminism to boost her brand while raking in millions off the exploitation of others. Her definition of feminism is more radical, as is inherent in black feminism, but I think Crispin’s (limited!)

Right. That one sentence summed up the whole point and purpose of this article.

I think your last paragraph is Crispin’s point. White feminism was usually tied with getting access to the capital and power of the patriarch that always oppressed WoC. Crispin wants to use Beyoncé of an example of her preference of using power feminism instead of white feminism, because it is also very common for WoC

You should read the whole article, and maybe the book. It’s exactly her point that we only help ourselves, which is why she prefers “power feminism” because of whiteness and power - and she’s critiquing that whiteness and power. Feminism, to her mind, is about all women, not just those who can afford to “perform” it.

I don’t totally agree with everything here and I don’t think we should spend our lives policing each other over minor infractions but am really starting to dislike the Roxane Gay ‘Bad Feminist’ crowd that screams down anyone critical of other women who let the side down for their own selfish, bullshit reasons. No,
