Definitely. I used to be in communications and marketing, and the push for social media marketing via small time representatives on social media (ie- influencers) is pushed as the new “organic” marketing wave. 

I’m sure some do this, but I don’t even shoot in a natural setting. I’d think it’s pretty clear it’s a professional shoot- I just don’t get credited, bc it’s of no use to me. They are essentially commercial shots. 

I’m a women’s photographer and I get some good influencer clients and mostly bad ones. The good ones contact me, tell me they will want shoots with x images, digitals only with commercial (social media) copyrights every 6-8 weeks in a certain style with x outfit changes, get a quote, sign a contract, and after 2 or 3…

I see your point- but who do you suggest? Bc out of the options presented... tech is a concern, but not my biggest by far. My main concern is health care, personally.

Yeah, except I think that is actually just bad photo resolution. I’d love to be wrong, but... it looks pretty pixilated (probably due to movement). I think it was a bad photo that someone tried to sharpen in post and it didn’t work out in that area. I don’t see it in other photos. I think she’s just an athletic type…

I went from a blah whatever kid, to a social pariah who was probably on drugs and faking crap for attention, and then somewhat interesting bc I had a cute popular boyfriend at another school and had lost some weight. Life moves fast guys.
