Our local Kroger had the veggie, along with beef and chicken. Maybe because I live in a college town with a lot of vegetarians/vegans, so it sells well. But no garlic and no mushroom, which is my next flavor quest. Amazon has it but it’s expensive, so I’m hoping to find it somewhere local.

It is in Hawaii too. My best friend used to have 2 Spam musubi for lunch every Friday, when the lunch truck offered it.

Howzit! Radford, ‘81, old timer. Luckily, I’m not on BP meds, but my husband is so I keep an eye on my pressure, just in case.

Google it, honey. I guarantee you’ll recognize her.

His part in the movie doesn’t matter. He was still a bigger star than Buddy Hackett.

Claire, my kitchen isn’t that big. How did you manage to sneak in there and I didn’t see you?

I think it’s just a pan-Asian racism. But I honestly don’t know, because I grew up in Hawaii so SPAM is just “local food”. I don’t eat it much anymore because I’m old and I don’t want to piss off my blood pressure too much. Still, SPAM, scrambled eggs and sticky rice is my go-to comfort breakfast.

My daughter got hooked on the garlic BTB but we haven’t been able to find it around where I live. And it’s not exactly the best time to go foraging for it. So she finally just ordered us 2 jars and they arrived this week. I love my kid!

“Lots of sex” in a porn movie?!? Oh, my stars and garters!!

Clever solution!

(The most famous actor in the Little Mermaid cast: Buddy Hackett as a seagull.)

You were doing well until the last sentence of the second paragraph. That one definitely knocked it into Tuckie Fishcakes territory.

That sounds good!

I bet you’re fun at parties.

His wife doesn’t need any sympathy. She’s a real piece of work in her own right.

We’re going to make a place for my grandson to have a desk in the living room (instead of in his room) for homeschooling, and so I’ve been contemplating where everything is in the living room lately. We could leave everything where it is, except a lamp and media rack, but now I’m thinking...

15:1 ratio might be a bit strong if you’re not used to that. A better starting ratio would be more like 17:1 (59 grams) or even 18:1 (55 grams). If I’m only making one cup at a time, I prefer it stronger than my husband does, so I do 30g/500ml and that’s just right for me.

I wonder if “Eric” says “I’m sorry - Patricia’s availability is restricted this week. I can give you some time on Thursday of next week”... people just accept it. But if “Erica” says the same thing they “yell” at her and do and end run to Patricia.

Since she’s mentioned twice, I will note it’s WhoopiE GoldbErg. Take the extra E from her first name and put it in her last name, where it belongs.

Agreed. Especially since that’s Hayley Mills.
