Well I hated it at first but after a few days of getting used to they new layout I just have to be honest with myself - I still hate the new layout, perhaps more than ever. The more I use the new layout the more I find reasons to hate the the new layout.

Wow. This might give Microsoft the wind they need to get back into the game. Windows Phone 7 is a decent mobile OS, but there is no compelling reason to get it over Android or iOS. With a larger install base it might be able to attract more developers and give the two big dogs a run for their money.

We NEEED comment reply notifications when coming to the site. That was one of my favorite Gawker blog features. Eliminating them was a huge step backwards.

I think the NGP may actually extend the lifecycle of the PS3 somewhat.

@MrLister: I totally agree. Instead of trying to shoehorn games onto the PSP's limited control scheme we are going to see innovative new games that cannot be done on any other console.

The NGP is nothing short of revolutionary. Compare the awesome possibilities of the rear touchscreen with the gimicky epic fail of the 3d in the 3DS.

@Variatas: I think we can both agree that the next year or so is going be very interesting in the hand held arena.

@Variatas: easily made up for by the touchpad on the back. Moreover, it has additional ways to control the game, like a gyroscope, compass, accelerometer and so on.

I don't think people are really grasping this.

Remember an iPhone (or similar smartphone) goes for around $5-600 off contract and this has even more features and horsepower.
