He got what he wanted? Are you serious? He’s been with this show since before it ran off broadway. He’s done over 500 performances in the last year ALONE. He’s allowed to want a fucking break. He’s a HUGE part of show and is onstage almost the whole 2.5 hours singing and dancing.

I think it’s mainly because convictions are so rare, and that even when there was a conviction the judge decided that the minimum sentence was too harsh and would “ruin the rest of his life” without even mentioning the future of the person he violated.
