"Basically" isn't "having" a wife and many men of the Night's Watch have done far more with women than Sam has, has only killed when defending himself and others from threats from the North which is part of his oath, and was sent to train as a Maester just as all Night's Watch Maesters have done in the past.
There are a lot of "rules" involving succession in this kingdom from when the show started that have very frequently been broken since.
Bronn is this series' Daryl Dixon.
It'd be a shock for his heroic death to not be involved directly with Daenerys, though.
Arya is a voice in Sansa's ear against Littlefinger. Minimizing the impact of that voice is very beneficial to him.
One of the best examples of that was the episode where Martin repeatedly beat Frasier at chess.
Tormund can't die because there has to be some payoff to all the googly-eyes he was giving to Brienne.
[Insert obligatory priest pedophile joke here.]
Given all the FNC people that have been forced to resign, that's like saying to a hunter "You've bagged six big bucks, how's that hunt for the seventh going? What, you haven't succeeded yet? How embarrassing."
So what you're saying is, the Waif that tried to kill her gets the credit, while Syrio that saved her life gets none. Bit of a dick move, IMO.
Bothered me too. Posted a similar comment above.
If I'm understanding what you're saying, that's what my issue is. Syrio wasn't "no one", because he's not a Faceless Man. So she should have credited him by name.
Syrio was from Bravos, but I don't recall him being a Faceless Man.
Maybe they were refined by the Waif, but it was Syrio Forel that taught her the "dance" of fighting by smooth action and dodging.
Nit-picking time. It bothered me when Arya credited her skill at fighting to "no one". Those skills were taught to her by Syrio Forel, not the Faceless Men, and he deserves to have his name live on through her given that he (presumably) sacrificed his life for her.
On #4, remember that in the first season Arya spent a significant amount of time in sword training with Syrio Forel, so her skill with a sword makes sense.
I think Jaime will kill Cersei (live Cersei, not zombie Cersei). I think his arc is ultimately redemption of some kind given his increasing reluctance to Cersei's methods, so I think he'll somehow kill Cersei while dying himself in the process.
Alright, Mr Particular, when you see the sentence in the future mentally replace it with "company policy has been to include it with every pizza ever sold".
Yes. Same with the sand snakes. How did Euron, who we've been given no indication is a warrior of any note, manage to dispatch these "great" warriors so easily?
