I agree with both points. They've put themselves in a precarious position with the Ramsay/Sansa storyline, and this threatens it even more. I'm not sure they haven't created a huge problem for themselves. But I can't see how anyone could say that the rape itself isn't the most logical continuation of the storyline

How so? We haven't seen Sansa's response to the rape yet, so how can anyone say that anything has been undone? There was no logical way for Sansa to get out of being raped there - the show has gone out of its way to set up Ramsay as an unredeemable psychopath, so wherever they're going with the Ramsay/Sansa storyline

I agree. That was the only possible logical outcome of this given everything we've seen of Ramsay Bolton. I'm not sure where all the shock and aghast over it is coming from, unless it's less about the fact of it and more about the actual showing of it.

I was a bit disappointed by the twist at the end, to be honest. I wanted it to be a mystery a little longer. Is this all going on in Ethan's head? Is he hooked up into some shared virtual world with other people? There were a few ways they could have gone besides "town cut off from the rest of the world", and while

Well, he didn't plug up the air holes, so he can't be TOO angry.

Even the Mountain could feel pain and get tired. Now imagine if he couldn't.

I didn't see Sandor die. I'm not counting him dead until I see a body.

"Rape" is a cause manufactured by the media? Uh, sure, if you say so…

I'm not sure we're watching the same show. Game of Thrones? Sunday nights? I only ask because common consensus, his Emmy and his Golden Globe seem to indicate something else.

You're overreacting JUST a teensy bit here. While the word choice could have been better, I believe the gist was still intended to be "he rejected her not for the reason he gave her, but because he wanted to protect her".

Because we're not all misogynistic d-bags who trivialize rape and some of us are actually concerned with its depiction in modern culture? I'm just spitballin here.

Here's the problem with people attempting to reconcile the Jaime of last week's rape with the Jaime of this week's "honor". You're too used to TV shows making characters simplistic and consistent, when in real life it's rarely the case. In real life it wouldn't be uncommon at all to find someone who's attempted or

I was somewhat ok with the Drogo rape. It was a (cheap, admittedly) way to aid in the depiction of them as "savages" early on, and it set the stage for Dany to flip the script later and demonstrate her coming into her own as the confident woman she eventually becomes.

You should actually READ the article. That's not at all what it says.

Since she hit puberty, I'd imagine.

I don't think I read this the same as you. I don't think they're saying it's popular because of hackers, I think they're saying it will now be a very popular target for hackers now that they know any vulnerabilities they find won't be patched by MS and they can attack those old people and large companies that aren't

The reason you can't hear me applaud is because it's the sound of one hand clapping.

I'm sorry, what was John Cusack's role in all of this again?

Ok. How about this?

I thought Mr. Scott betrayed Eleanor to her father (for her own good in his eyes as he saw Nassau as a no-win situation) and then was betrayed in turn by her father, who asked Bryson to make sure Mr. Scott didn't return so that he couldn't cause further complications to the situation with Eleanor. Since he was a slave
