I think if I had to side on a black and white side of things, I would be on Salami’s side. There’s a lot of the modern experimental stuff which is really annoying and IMO dangerous. Its funny for you to say this because the interior of a model 3 is one of the worst I have ever seen. The fact that touch screen A/C controls have almost gotten me into an accident is not progress. The fact that in my normal car, I can, pretty much without looking at the controls, adjust my temperature, seat heaters,…

Some of those items are “progress” for no real point. Fixing problems that don’t actually exist.....I’m looking at you touchscreens/capacitive buttons. They actually work worse than mechanical more often than not.
