Given that the seller is being forthcoming and is including new balljoints and some other misc parts, I’m gonna go for a NP. Turbobricks FTW!

But sometimes, it doesn’t matter if it actually is fast. Electric cars feel fast, which is what really makes a car fun.

If that represents what you look like on the inside, then I have no idea what my insides look like. I drive a (somewhat modified) ‘89 Volvo 740 Turbo. What the hell is that supposed to look like.

But turbo lag is fun! Useful, no, but absolutely encourages you to floor it.

I guess I’ll be one of the only people to say that I actually dig the conversation. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good V8 as much as the next gearhead, but few things on this earth are more enthralling than the obscene quantity of torque an electric motor can deliver. For those that look at this as blasphemy, consider

See in MA, once a car is 15 years old it no longer has to meet emissions. All the safety checks are still done, but emissions is skipped. The only restriction is that you can’t have visual tailpipe emissions.

Volvo 740 Turbo. Fast, cheap, quirky. Even better ;)

As much as that’s a kind of stereotypical thing to do, there’s a seafood restaurant near me that also serves one of the best steaks around. Surprised the hell out of me.

I’m assuming that he’s married and making an innuendo about his wife not giving him any.

I take issue with your syntax, but the point is well made.

See, as a college student without children, I don’t hate the minivan. I don’t worry about becoming my parents. But I have a hard time understanding why I’d want a minivan over a wagon. Also, the new Volvo V90 is sexy as hell

I was just thinking something along those lines

I’m in agreement. His brake lights came on, but it looks like he barely slowed down. I’m a fairly new driver myself, and I probably did something like that when I was practicing for my license.

My ‘89 Volvo has something to say about that. 23 on the highway if I’m very gentle. As soon as you get into the fun (boost), that plumbets to the high teens.

LEDs make less heat, but the bulbs also need to stay at lower temperatures to survive.

I don’t quite understand it myself, but Volvos are known as a whole for being very reliable. It seems that once a car hits 100k miles, regardless of pedigree, its resale value plummets rapidly.

Not bulletproof... Bullet resistant.

I stuck a cone filter in my car for two reasons: the stock airbox was poorly designed (to quiet the turbo), and (the primary reason) I wanted to be able to hear the turbo. This might make me a prick. I’m OK with that.

That’s how my day went today :(

So basically, Bosch is bringing back the feedback you used to get before electronic throttle control.... Yup, innovation at work.
