+1 for Frid. As another guitar playing woodworker: 1/1000” makes a difference when cutting fret slots, which are criss grain and not as affected by wood movement. While I agree 1/1000” won’t stay 1/1000”, that is the precision on most guitar plans.
Maybe not. There is a reason studio speakers are called monitors. They are primarily tools to examine and shape sound, not to kick back and enjoy it.
