Big McLargeHuge?
Macbeth better watch his ass around this guy.
Is it possible for a child to get 100% of their genetic material from only one of their parents? Does Jake Busey even have a biological mother?
Yeah, but the Time Turner is hardly the only example of a universal fix-it being introduced and then abandoned. Fawkes' phoenix tears saved Harry's life at the end of Chamber of Secrets, but after that, the thought of using them to save someone else who's been grievously wounded never crosses anyone's mind again. And…
There's definitely that same element that drives me up the wall about Star Trek in all its incarnations: "Here's an incredible new piece of technology that will save the entire ship this episode; now let us never speak of it again, no matter how useful it might be in future episodes."
What if somebody just shot him in the ass?
How recent are we talking about? My money is still on that semi-sentient pile of mashed potatoes Newt Gingrich.
Everyone's got the spark of the divine in them somewhere… even these assholes.
Why didn't they just call it the IHASP?
My dearest wish for Trump, Pence, Bannon, Ryan, McConnell, Sessions, and everyone else involved in this trainwreck of an administration is for them to wake up tomorrow morning and see how much damage they've done, and to then commit to spending their remaining time cleaning up the mess they've made.
President Trump has condemned violence in all forms
KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYS!!!!!!!!!!
For my part, here in New England it's usually about 50/50, and there's no consistent demographics. I see young kids on skis and old farts like myself on boards all the time, and it's nice to see the evolution.
True enough, but the flip side of that is that learning how to ski or board in New England means that you're forced to (eventually) figure out what you're doing, since the conditions can be shitty and it actually hurts when you fall on that concrete-like hardpack. I've seen a lot of west coasters injure themselves on…
I've been a snowboarder for 20 years now, and it doesn't even make sense from the inside. You can't see what's below you half the time. You can't really get close to the fall line because the board was never designed to go straight downhill. If you catch an edge, you usually end up breaking the fall with your wrists.…
I gotta blast a dookie!
The main character plays the sax and drives an old Camaro too.
Ned Flanders, Ski Patrol.
I'm reminded of seeing Matthew Sweet way back when "Altered Beast" had just come out. It was awesome and also probably the loudest concert I've ever been to (it was a club gig and they had a PA big enough for an arena). Seeing the great Richard Lloyd on lead guitar was a nice bonus.
I didn't look at all of the comments, but I'll throw in for an obvious one that I didn't see mentioned: "Nothing Compares 2 U." Whether Sinead O'Connor would have cracked the charts again if she'd held it together is a question for the historians.
