My guess is that the first time they did it the meat really did smell unexpectedly bad and since that played well they’ve been given intentionally smelly meat and/or played up their reactions on each revisit. Or maybe it’s the vegan thing like D.R. Darke says.

Reluctantly agree. I’d like for the Cloud 9iverse to continue, but Cheyenne and Bo are the characters I would be least interested in following.

Okay. I’ve never particularly noticed much flavor from olive oil. Admittedly I usually get the cheap supermarket kind, but here and there I’ve had a fancy bottle and it’s been pretty much the same.

you’re sacrificing nearly everything that makes olive oil worth using in the first place”

I have no particular opinion about Vogt and Pinnamaneni. If they and the people close to the story agree that it’s time for them to go, then it is probably time.

A million people have (had) annual passes to Disneyland? That is astounding to me.

I can’t back this up with documentation, but I suspect the history of cum/cumming/cummed is something like this:

I thought the pilot was quite good, but the pot-fueled shenanigans of the second episode went too broad too quick. But lots of shows take a few episodes to calibrate their tone, so I’m still on board.

I don’t understand this decision. It doesn’t put any more money in Chappelle’s pocket. It means that HBO Max (like Netflix before) loses something that adds value to their service. And it means that fans no longer have access to this content. No one is better off and a lot of people are (very slightly) worse off. How

Even more striking since the older one appears to be in his 20s.

I liked RP1 and am generally inclined to defend it, but this is a really good point.

Here’s my Couple Retreat anecdote (we all have one):

Counterpoint: Hamburger Helper is delicious.

I’m curious how you read the scene. I think there was a lot there to suggest it was meant as a romantic connection: the passion of the kissing, the fact that they both fled from other potential romantic partners to end up there, that chasing down a person as they are about to leave and taking them to beautiful spot

I almost loved this episode.

I don’t feel as strongly about the ending, but I agree that it was an unnecessary abandonment of the premise of the sketch for a very mean spirited joke.

I think that that premise was really just to set up the segue into the sleepover bit rather than an actual political point, but it was still a dumb thing to say.

Scrolled specifically to see if anybody could confirm that that’s who he is. Merci.

Few if any, but I’m not sure what your point is. I have no problem with Fraser’s mustache in itself. I do think that Fraser looks a lot more like 16 year old (the age of the actor) than a 14 year old (the age of the character), but that is a failing of the casting director.
