That's actually no challenge at all - you can write your software to do so with tools readily available online. Lookup OpenCL - it's a way of using any recent AMD or NVidia for general purpose computing. NVidia also got their own variant, called CUDA.

Regardless of what it finds, it gives us new information and insights about our red neighbor. So yea, I definitely agree with you.

Anything can be broken.

He shouldn't be posting pictures while driving.

Please, no:

Though those look quite a lot less interesting than those in their catalogs.

They were just saying goodbye, and thanks for all the fish.

theimmc is speaking about limits, pretty much the foundation of modern calculus.

My uncle was contracted to design an air conditioning system for an office building. He ended up upgrading each and every CRT monitor in the building to the revolutionary LCDs that were just becoming available (yes, this is a few years ago).

A few times just for the heck of it. Trying if the software would recognize the names for dutch apps (it actually did pretty good, if you pronounced it phonetically as an Englishman would).

I'd be more worried about their draw distance.

True. Simply using this for an example as it's much older.

Great idea indeed. Thanks, HTC!

It's always been the standard for thumbs-up since MSN Messenger. In over a decade, noone bothered to find a better shortcut.

The SDK "expects" you're writing a "full-screen" app. For example, in a game, you don't want those UI elements there. It's not that odd if you think about it.

However, the NT kernel has undergone much more changes since then. With each release of Windows, the NT kernel had been modernized. The CE kernel got stuck years ago, far before Windows Mobile 5 even released.

It's actually blocked by default in the SDK. You have to change one 'true' to 'false' (or was it the other way around? Not sure if it was 'hide' or 'show') at the top of your app's pages.

Hate to break it to you, but with the larger tiles only 3 medium/wide ones will fit in your screen vertically. Hope that doesn't spoil your fun :(

Sure, it sucks for current users, though it really depends on what 7.8 brings.

My bad. I thought you meant it as a bad thing, because they are 'faking' their speed somewhat. You have my apologies.
