Counter point: They were talking about Donald Trump, not your brother.

Other counterpoint: this is why the NBA is dumb. You don’t see this level of one-sided team building in any other major sport. I get that this is just inherent in the way the the economy of the league is structured, but that just means I’ll never have a deep vested interest in it. Good for players maximizing their pay

I’m not upset with KD for leaving, I’m upset about where he’s going and how he’s explaining it. Very few players play their entire careers in the same place, and his work in the community here will always be remembered and appreciated. It’s just, I would have literally been fine with any other team in the league

“Dude’s just an employee making an employment decision.”

“Dude is just an employee.”

So with 9 years of hindsight, the obvious conclusion to draw is...Simmons was 100% correct here?

And even if he did “demand a trade” it’s *highly* unlikely he’d demand a trade to the Pirates given where he’d land in their prospect charts. The A’s or even the Reds, maybe. But certainly not the Pirates. I really think this Mattinglys [sic] Sideburns poster doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground.

I’m with you. The kid just lost an eye. Let’s not make up any rumors right away.

I think what’s important here is he’s been able to remain so jolly and is surrounded by his first and best mates.

:(

Based on his upbeat response to this terrible accident it would be a great story if Imhof can work hard and continue his career, but I’m afraid he’s going to lose focus.
