“That was a good joke. That and the one from earlier, I am crushing it.”

Is that NICKY FUCKIN' SOBOTKA?

I don't really care for his late-night show either, but I don't mind watching clips of it because he's the only non-Chelsea Handler on TV who's actually featuring comics. Between the two of them, I find him to be far less grating.

Did anyone ever watch his daytime TV show DreamMaker? I remember when I was about 12, my mom would watch it, and even at that age, I came away going, "Ugh, this is exploitative and unwatchable. How is this on TV?" It's maybe the most profound shitty miracle I've been lucky enough to experience.

It is somewhat more interesting, yes, but no less rage-inducingly bad.

What if the worst thing you can imagine happening to them is listening to Fun. all day?

It's plenty enough to mold an informed opinion.

Nope.

What about vertical integration?

I'm so glad you're my best friend @GuyIncognitoII:disqus and I love Adrian so much!

Naked Lizzy Caplans for some, tiny Michael Sheen flags for others!

The wife of a coworker of mine has gotten pregnant with both of their kids while on the pill. Can't speak to the efficacy of her usage, but it doesn't really set me at ease about it.

Is that a Czech name?

What's especially awful about this finale is that it's pretty clear they were trying to strike Dexter as a Lear figure. Going out into the storm, Dexter carrying Deb out in his arms… it's as if they haven't been watched any of the show they made. They had to save up for one last inevitable dash of pretension.

The Gallagher interview was legendary.

Agreed to a large extent. I listened to the album a couple of times before seeing the review, and my initial takeaway was that it's solid, but not up to the level of Fox Confessor/Middle Cyclone/Blacklisted. A still-good lesser outing from a great artist. I'm sure it'll grow on me with repeated listens though.

Despite the fact that you didn't suggest it, I have to go ahead and insist on a hive mind being installed now. I want AV Club staff to be linked in unison the same way those soldiers were in Dollhouse.

Or as my girlfriend frquently tells me, "Get the come out of your ears."

You must either be British or exposed to very different parts of the culture than I am. I've only heard it once on the radio, and it hasn't exactly permeated TV either.

@avclub-188934b799f9c866379dd96bc600a688:disqus It was a Maria Bamford bit, so that might have something to do with it.
