This represents, above all else, the problems experienced when you effectively section people off into groups, rather than recognize each of them as an individual.

You can’t be inclusive to all. You can try, sure, but it’s impossible. Flavia Dzodan’s statement is too narrow to be productive. You can’t use language that is 100% inclusive of everyone all the time. If everything was bullshit unless it was 100% inclusive or intersectional, we’d have gotten nowhere.
It’s sad that no one talks about .hack anymore. They did it first. I’d love to see a .hack series with the concept given by the initial commenter.
A lot of people complained that Log Horizon was boring by comparison, but I thought the opposite. I found the character interactions and the world building to be far more interesting than SAO ever was.
I loved the CKY videos and still listen to the band. Good times.

I’m a little uncomfortable with the ruling. I mean if he didn’t know he was being taped in his own home that seems wrong to do to him. He can say whatever he wants there and shouldn’t be afraid of having his privacy violated.

thanks for sharing this!
Wow thank you for such a great and thoughtful reply. Totally agree about the police thing. They absolutely are racist but they also have contempt for pretty much everyone and that contempt get’s worse the less amount of privilege you have. I’m white but poor and I’ve had horrible experiences with cops my whole life…
I worked in a rental store during high school (just dated myself!) and one regular, normal and very awesome regular customer suggested “Secretary” when he brought it back. He made a few kinda awkward “warnings” that I didn’t think really even meant more than “it is rated R and has some sex stuff” since he was kinda…
I was a bright kid. I recognized exactly what I was seeing and abruptly spun around and went back upstairs. Not enough time to critique.
My mom doesn’t do vibrators -- she uses personal massagers like you see in the grocery stores. And as a kid, I found hers and used it on my back. It wasn’t until years later that I understood why she was so freaked out by finding me with it.
