This show has never been that tight with the plotting and often sacrificed believability and consistency for shocks, weird twists. and tension. I think that can be fine. I like watching it for the character interactions and development, a lot of the imagery, some of the mythology, and philosophizing.

It's hard to say. It all depends on what Will thinks Hannibal actually knows at that point, as I can see Will lying about Chilton being dead so Hannibal lets his guard down a bit more.

There may as well have been a trail of former Ripper victims' body parts leading from Jack's office to Chilton sleeping in his oxygen tank for sexual powers.

she was a pretty good shot for just having been given her prosthetic and having been trapped in a dark, dank well for 2 years

Do you foresee her ending up in a pork chops and applesauce dish?

I almost went out to get Korean barbecue, but then I decided it was too soon.

I call this one "Dog Food".

In both roles exasperation and despair are in no short supply.

Pretty sure after working on Veep, Hannibal isn't even in the top 3 most torturous characters she's been trapped on screen with. If she only had one bullet in that gun and the Ripper and Jonah were in that interrogation room, I'm fairly certain the West Wing Man would've taken the bullet.

Just read about Michael Pitt on set rumors. That should make it easier to accept him in that role.

Which clone was she most like?

That's definitely a plausible explanation. Part of the problem is though that at this point they have all sorts of supposedly really smart, super competent people making all sorts of ridiculous mistakes.

Really enjoying the slightly more sinister, proactive Will.

Amen-nibal

Not too sure. This episode Will got released and then 2 days later spoke to Miriam, so that's one time reference. One week seems like a good guess for a typical episode. It could be a case where like a 4 episode stretch occurs in a more condensed time frame like 2 weeks to a month and then there is a gap and then

It seems like the last few episodes he hasn't seemed to hobble so much. I think I remember earlier in the season he seemed to move a lot more gingerly, like during his testimony in court. You could be right though.

I don't even know how they bought Chilton as the killer. The guy was still using a cane to hobble around from last season's selective surgery(somebody else's selection). How could they think he could manage to set up all those tableaus without help if they believed the Ripper worked alone?

I thought Hannibal was a cooking show and True Detective an advertisement for the Louisiana Tourism Bureau

I was hoping Oreilly could be Colbert's Ed McMahon

Definitely worried about the move too. Colbert's comedy is partially so good because of it's incisiveness and unique takes on the absurdities of politics. On his current show on his current channel he is able to more bluntly tackle issues without having to sit on the fence.
