The internet may have been a mistake guys.
This may be a little late, but may I suggest Lawrenofsky?
I still think the scene in season one where Snart interacts with his child self is one of the best scenes in the entire series, and phenomenal work from Wentworth Miller.
I was not prepared for the deep dive into Mick’s understanding of his father, and the role Vietnam may have played in his father’s later mistreatment of his family. But I really, really loved it.
I remember when Brave came out, reading articles about how Chapman was working on a story about mother-daughter relationships, then she was taken off the project and replaced by two men, and the result was the mother getting turned into a bear for wacky shenanigans for most of the film.
If they turn Ruby into their own version of Johnathan Kent I’m going to laugh.

I walked in with very low expectations, given the history of this rushed and half-assed cinematic universe and the low tomatoscore. But I walked out of the theater in a much better mood than I entered. All I needed was for the characters to be fun and *enjoy* saving people, and that’s what I got.
I didn’t believe in the Ghostbusters claim of coining “is toast” as “is dead” either, so I went to the OED hoping to find some 19th century usage. But to my surprise, it read:
funny and absolutely nailed the era of it’s music video. my favorite line:
