I looked at and drove a used ’69 912 when I was in college about 12 years ago. It was rough and they only wanted like 4500. My dad told me not to buy it. It had quite a bit of the car cancer. He also thought it didn’t make sense for a college kid to only have a motorcycle and a ‘project car’ as transportation.
