The rumored electric Maverick and Ranger Lightnings. I want an electric pickup but smaller that a full-size, and (relatively) affordable.

I think that’s a bit of an overreaction. It’s a unique, smart-looking car that you never see anywhere, and when you consider how great a shape it is aside from the rust area that needs to be fixed? $4500 is a more than reasonable price to get into it. Especially if you know a reasonable body shop that can patch the

Meh, this sort of stuff goes back a long time.

The Charger Daytona EV—duh. Course it’s one thing to have a cool looking concept, it’s another for when the production version hits the dealerships’ floors and it’s a letdown. Given the strong ‘69 Charger look of the concept, I doubt Dodge will pull the rug out—like how Chevy did with the Volt concept versus the

it’s not a car but a motorcycle. The Sondors Metacycle. I have been waiting for an inexpensive electric bike to go for sale and I can’t wait for these to start showing up used.

If I had to pick one, it’s probably whatever the top dawg EV/hybrid Corvette is going to be. Whether it’s called the ZL-1, Zora, E-Ray, or Michael Bay’s Rage Boner, I’m here for it.

The hybrid AWD Maverick, that is hopefully a plug-in.

Never thought I’d say this, but GM’s styling game on crossovers has been very strong lately. The newest Blazer is pretty sharp, and this follows in its footsteps as being a fairly handsome little SUV. Good job GM.

This is good. Styling isn’t overloaded, price is great, no fancy gimmicks.

It looks reasonably well-styled and boasts a competitive powertrain, price and feature set. I think we’re about to see perhaps the most competent lineup of GM cars in a long time.

As an enthusiast, I as really hoping EVs would lead to more RWD cars and GM seems hellbent on sticking to FWD and now AWD when it comes to their “affordable” EVs. Maybe I’m dumb, but I didn’t think there was the cost savings in FWD EVs like there is in FWD ICE cars or the packaging benefits.

I’m not a fan of the styling, but if that price point is true it will be hard to ignore this car.

As a Wrangler lover (albeit TJ lover), an electric Wrangler is god damn ideal.

The people that sell them and buy them should be held to some level of social responsibility.

What? You failed to mention my awesome 2003 Jeep Liberty with the 3.7 that also gets 17 combined. This is a travesty.

I’m not even the target demographic for one of these, but in today’s world of overpriced cars, $60k for a nicely equipped manual Supra doesn’t sound like a bad deal. It’s not like they’re going to depreciate.

15 mpg in this type of hi-po car doesn’t bother me. Sure, maybe a handful will be daily drivers, but I’m more concerned about the truck loads of HD trucks that are both gas guzzler exempt, and sell hand over fist.

I don’t get it at all. It makes me wonder what kind of job or jobs that someone easily pay near or over 6 figures on a car.
