I haven’t actually got them yet, and I don’t know that my memory of the last time I got the originals will be clear enough to be able to make a fair comparison. I just saw Frango and brain went oooo gimmie.

I’m glad you added the Garretts exception to the popcorn tin line item. Generic popcorn tubs are ass. I gifted myself a tub from Garretts along with some Frango mints this year, feeling nostalgic for growing up in the Chicago burbs.
Getting close, if they could just scale it down into a real hot hatch it would be truly interesting... to like 100 people and me.
Seconded on the equal parts dark rum, cognac and bourbon. Mine gets aged for at least a month before gifted out near xmas. Everyone that is an eggnog drinker loves it. Making this year’s batch is on my to-do list for the upcoming weekend.
That pickle juice blogsicle was just stupid. Maybe adding a little to your already dilute brine, but there’s no point then flavor wise. If you brine in pure pickle juice you’re going to fuck up the meat texture from the acidity. Maybe adding some to an injection just before cooking but a straight brine no way. I even…
I understand it’s probably an obscure (at least in the US) movie/special/whatever, but Genie is a remake of the truly fantabulous Rowan Atkinson, Lenny Henry and Alan Cumming original Bernard and the Genie. It’s one of my very top few holiday video things to watch every year.
Then their ad agencies suck, show it doing real offroading that almost no one will ever put it through anyway! Let’s say it’s not hating on the vehicle but how the marketing is portraying it.
Have to love it when the trails/dirt roads pictured could easily be traversed by a two wheel drive sedan, not some tarted up cosplaying “offroad” not-truck.
The bullshit is I always tip. Still 50% of the time the order is late, cold, not delivered per the instructions clearly given. Tips should be after the fact, not BEFORE!
How are trucks like the S10, Hardbody, Might-Max that are compact trucks listed in a slideshow about “midsize” trucks? They are awesome, but defintely not fucking midsize.
Every time Fusk opens his mouth he proves what a fucking informed idiot he is showing he definitely has zero understanding of materials science, mechanical engineering, ballistics, computer science or anything else that is based in reality.
I prefer the version where Robert Redford and one of the Blues Brothers has to keep the McGuffin out of Ghandi’s hands.
Looks like a Miata and a 73ish Corvette had a bastard child and it was melted in an oven like a shrinky-dink. The pictures make the color look completely uninteresting, which is shocking to me as amazing as Mazda can do red paint.
There are MANY other type-2 diabetes control drugs you can take before jumping straight to Ozempic. They have been in use for far longer and have much more known ramifications and are much more likely to be covered by insurance depending on the exact prescription. Simple Metformin could be all you need, but I would…
A mix of apples is ideal. I usually go for a pair like Granny Smith and Braeburn or Cortland if available. But, adding just a few (or one large) Red Delicous cut thinner/smaller than the main chunkier apples can add a nice cohesiveness to your pie as they break down a bit.
Hydrogen has much higher energy density/storage capacity per units of weight mainly, also faster refeuling time.
Referenced sancocho recipe noted for making soon!
Looks the same as the lede photo to me...
