This has been the object of universal envy back in the ‘90 when I was studying. I remember one that has been owned by a girl I was hangin’ out with and it was by far the most fun vehicle out there.

Why didn’t they limit the size of the visitors center to a single parking spot and leave the rest of the parking intact so people could actually park their cars on the way to the visitors center?

“Had/have” should be fathomed first. The only one of them I had is the 1999 328i.

I’ve had/have 4 E46s, from a pre-LCI 328 to an LCI 330xd, LCI 320d, LCI M3 and I fail to fathom how is it possible to let the car rot up to the point of kidney grilles falling out. The VANOS and (perhaps the 5-spd auto?) transmission issues are well documented and preventive maintenance allows them to function

It does have a screen more or less size of the Miata screen (left to the speedo), another screen right to the tachometer, and another screen in front of the passenger. A freakin’ lot of screens, just cleverly hidden and very well played out by their PR.

I think I’ve seen a Lamborghini there before.

Some 10 or more years ago similar issues plagued the Subaru 2.5 litre turbocharged engine in STI’s. The open deck design was found to be the weakest point of the whole engine.

Lanman and his fiancée—whom he got engaged to after making the ad—will still make a decent amount of money on it.

It gets official:

It’s a feature on a Cayenne since they were launched in 2002. Also on Touaregs and Q7's that both share the same platform.

Stunning. You made me want a motorcycle again.

That would create a very meta situation in internet discussions 40 years from then!

As for function-fair enough, as for construction, it’s a bit different, Most if not all of the European MPVs were designed as cars and this used to be a panel van in the first place (yeah, I know it was a Beetle before).

Yeah, too bad it was just a concept, way ahead of its time (Renault was just sketching the Espace by the time the Carousel was shown).

- Chrysler pretty much invented the concept of the minivan with the 1984 Chrysler Town and Country and the Plymouth Voyager.

I wonder how long will it take for the Ferrari lawyers to send a C&D letter to Tuerck, asking to never, ever mention the word ”Ferrari” in his communication.

Seems to me the passenger wouldn’t get to enjoy the views too much.

Another proof that rich people buy hypercars to get laid.

Nice renderings, now did they do the actual car?
