@howardd21: I had stumbled upon that site in my search... some really cool stuff on there and definitely some inspiration.

@Bonsai_halcyon: The Revo looks like it would fit... plus with having an HDMI output that thing looks like a winner... I was hoping to be able to salvage parts laying around but the Revo may end up being the cheapest route.

I have an old Gateway media center PC that has a TV Tuner and an AV input. Does anyone know of a way to make the AV work as OUTPUT? I'll post the specifics of the cards when I get home from work.

@farcedude: The single biggest thing that helped me finally get organized when it comes to paperwork is I got a job where they have a scanner/copier with a multi-sheet feed that can email or save to a server via SMB. That together with a pdf printer and I keep a pdf of everything

I used to write exclusively in cursive, then 8 years ago when I started college I switched to exclusively writing in all caps. I did that up through law school. My original reason for switching from cursive was because

I use Pandora.fm, combined with dueling Soundamus RSS feeds (which I learned about on a Friday open thread here) it gives me the best of both worlds.

#2 is a great tip!

I've been using Xobni for a few weeks now and LOVE it... I don't use it so much for the social aspect though I see the value in that. IMO it's got the best free search capability for Outlook that I've seen.
