Had an Olds Alero as a rental when they first came out and was very impressed with the performance, fuel economy, and looks. If you look at one from the side they sort of have the profile of a Mustang of the same time but with 4 doors.

Rode a Harley for years and never bought into the lifestyle cosplay. Actually it came after I started riding my Harley. I bought it after riding a friend’s and realizing I could put thousands of more miles on it over my metric bikes I had owned. Stock pipes and normal gear and just go. The crowd doesn’t pay you no

All I can say is, it is a good thing there is a hospital right there. They’re gonna need it.

“ON YOUR LEFT!!””

The add does say “Hino Sign of Quality”. Maybe they meant to show that their quality sucked and 1 out of 2 cars they build break down on the side of the road.

Having ridden motorcycles for years I think the big issue is distracted drivers. Riding in an urban or suburban area is too dangerous. While expressways are safer do to less traffic and less cross traffic they too can have their issues. Having ridden for years I know that if your plan is to ride distance on

No. Plain and simple. If I can’t see it, try it, touch it, nope.

Audio controls on the steering wheel. Dumb I know but I love not having to look at my dash to change stations, volume, input, songs. etc.

First time I saw one, it was black and I thought it was a special build for a funeral home.

I agree. I think a lot of the OEM’s have input into the design of a lot of the parts but in most cases I think they just shop suppliers products for best price and install what they think will sell. I agree with you thoughts on pricing. All cars are built basically this same. While some luxury brands may spend a bit

Valmet Automotive who once built cars for Fisker are now building Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W176) production started in August 2013, Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class (started in January 2017) and Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W177) production started in August 2018

This. I think it has more to do with the people who subscribe and mood they are in when the fill out the survey. CR has never been that spot on when it comes to product recommendations. I think the thing you have to look at is what people actually buy and in what numbers. That is the real litmus test.

Bradley,

Most people do less than 25 miles a day and with the cold weather most EV’s get 30% less range. I think a reasonable 100 miles should be more than sufficient for 90% of drivers.

Tempting.

While I love motorcycles, the pandemic has turned people into raging speeding crazies on the road and I barely feel safe in my car much less on a bike.  That and while used bikes and fuel are cheap, insurance is stupid expensive. Maybe in another place but here. Sigh.

Put there on purpose.

I agree. I have found in many cases where people who look to have money are playing the loan shuffle game. One missed payment and boom out on the street. Just look at how fast many small businesses closed once things shut down for Covid. There are a lot of people around me who own small businesses who drive really

Neutral: I want Biden to legalize Kei cars nationwide.

Been there done that. Punched my air shocks through the trunk.
