I have to agree. The few times I have rented and driven Jeeps they have been awful. I can’t say where it comes to the car based ones but the iconic Jeeps body on frame CJ copies have been just as you said, terrible to drive and loud. Not to mention cramped and hard to get in and out of. Also really bad turning radius.
