Yeeeeeeeep. My adult gaming ADHD means I can get approximately 15% through a game before I bounce on to something else. The last time I finished a massive AAA open world game, it was The Witcher 3, and only after taking a year or two hiatus.

They’re still pretty awesome and look amazing. Honestly I don’t know if there are any better single player mobile games out there right now.
Oh man it’s a good thing I bought these literally five years ago - I beat the first one, but only dabbled in the second. They’re incredibly good, and I needed something offline to play on my trip home for the holidays.

Ha. That’s like “photographers” who say “I DON’T EDIT MY PHOTOS BECAUSE THAT IS THE PUREST FORM OF ART” and it’s like no u twerp even if u shoot film the process of developing film in a dark room is still “an edit” (probably done by someone other than u).
Wow you’re a dick.
That makes me sad, man. I didn’t get Steam when it absolutely first came out, but I have had it since it was only Valve games, and it was cool to watch it grow and explode. Granted there’s a lot of trash on there these days, but it’s a bummer to see it fall from grace.
When I had more than five different launchers on my computer.
Oh, hell yes. Roguelikes are among the few genres that can still capture my interest as I age and find games more difficult to enjoy. Hyped to see their take on the genre.
ETA: UGH why is it in the stupid Epic store and not on Steam. Too many goddamn digital storefronts these days.
Mind blown.
A) I didn’t realize that kid was in Interstellar.
That’s, uh, an interesting choice of header image considering the tone of this article and the recent article critical of Playboy for shilling Marilyn Monroe’s desperation nudes.
That’s really awesome, and I admire that. My best friend is the same - he recently got his PhD in Political Science and currently lives in Mexico. He teaches and spends most of his free time working in small communities, and writing/translating political articles. I never would have guessed that my heavy drinking,…
This was my perspective for a long time too - until I saw the amount of fucked up shit people say on Facebook under their own name. Some people just truly suck. That said, I agree - anonymity allows people to don their troll masks with impunity, whereas Facebook can have real-life consequences when people overstep…
Huh. I legitimately thought Nick was gay.
Yeah... ha. I think the 20s and college times are a hotbed for “I AM A SOCIAL ACTIVIST I AM SO WOKE.” I know I was quite the idealist in that time. But then you get old and grumpy and realize mostly everything is bullshit and you can’t do much to change it so you just sorta go along with the flow, like a turd gently…
Excuse me? He’s beautiful.
Comparing this comment and the one below it is some sort of low-key social study:
That’s how I feel reading a lot of things online these days.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah Murakami’s sex scenes have always been a bit... much. And often hella problematic. Could do without those in his work.
