Dear 1967 Mustang,
Dear 1967 Mustang,
This is almost as stupid as creating a law to mandate setting commercials the same volume as TV programs. When did we become a bunch of whiny idiots who use the legal code to try to force businesses to cater to our needs? If you don't like it, don't buy it. Don't pass laws that are stupid.
Ah, right. I sent you an irrelevant link. :D
This has nothing to do with heat. Gloves are insulators (electrically and thermally - two different things,) so they isolate your electrically conductive skin from the surface of the phone. If you had conductive gloves (they make gloves that have special tips that allow control of a touchscreen) then you can use one.
Heat does not generate electric fields (unless you count blackbody radiation, which is another topic.) Chemical reactions generate ion flow within your body which generates electric fields. Heat is also generated by these reactions, but heat does not create the electric field, nor does the screen circuitry in any way…
You do know that capacitive touch screens have nothing to do with heat, and everything to do with electric fields and....capacitance.... right?
Step one - get 5 year old to shape lump of clay into "general car shape"
Next up, Nissan counters with the Bay Leaf, an eco-friendly electric car with an herb-garden interior!
I wonder how those CVs like going top speed at full droop...
I never said GM was wrong in apologizing. I'm saying the need to is stupid, and people that are offended by it are too. They have every right to be stupid, and their money spends like everyone elses.
I've never understood how anyone could be thin skinned enough to care about a commercial that suggests you buy their product over other alternatives.
You can tell as soon as he hits that patch of different tarmac the right side gains traction and yaws him. Torque biasing FTW.
And now, the latest life-saving accessory from Cobb!
Considering how many miles I put on my car a year (40k) not eating in the car is hard, especially when I spend most of those 40k miles driving in 500 mile chunks. It's really hard to drive 500 miles and not eat something. You get really hungry.
Probably less than 1000W.
Teslalation: No longer about polygons.
Oh god I loved my Fast TRAXX. That thing was the best remote controlled car ever. I have never found one as capable since.
For those of us who have real speakers and headphones, we demand audio!
Also in the US the driver is on meth and has a gun, in which case pepper spray is like waving at a forest fire with a hanky.
